The Cloisters, Newbury

The Cloisters is an open rehabilitation unit, located on the edge of Newbury. Operated by the Priory Group, this unit offers inpatient rehabilitation services, treating service users with complex mental health illnesses such as schizophrenia or bipolar affective disorder.
Designed and built by the CoyleGroup, the unit itself comprises 24 spacious bedrooms, fully equipped with built in furniture and each with a private en-suite. Service users can relax in one of the living rooms or therapeutic areas and an ADL kitchen is available for their use. A main kitchen also offers a catering service.
The building is decorated with an up-to-date but homely finish and provides a safe and secure environment for all residents. Robust anti ligature fittings have been used throughout. Outdoors there are enclosed gardens and landscaped areas which can be enjoyed when the weather is nice. The building has been built to meet CQC standards, HTM84 fire regulations and all statutory building regulations.
